Military Support Technical Capability
Building
on GbE’s
proven training
experience
in
- Program Development
- Management Support
- Logistical Support
- Base Operations Services
- Security Systems
- Facilities Engineering Services
GbE established the Special Operations and Training Department (SO/TD) to provide a wide spectrum of military support services, especially training support and support services. These services also are appropriate to multiple non-DOD clients (e.g., Department of Homeland Security).
In its initial year, GbE specifically focused on the ongoing US Army requirements for Global War on Terrorism pre-deployment training and COB/OPFOR role-player support. GbE has conducted OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM and OPERATION EDURING FREEDOM (Afghanistan) COB and OPFOR role-player services for First US Army.
GbE also has provided specialized pre-deployment training utilizing subject matter expert instructors. These specialist instructors trained more than 10,000 military personnel at Ft. Benning, Ft. Dix, Ft. Drum, Ft. Riley, Camp Atterberry and Camp Shelby.
GbE has demonstrated its capability to build upon the prior military, civilian and CENTCOM AOR experience of our key personnel to execute large-scale training and training support programs nationally.
Role-Player Services
GbE has significant
experience
providing role-players
to support
OPFOR/COB training
related to
Southwest Asia.
The majority
of these role-players
are natives
of Iraq or
Afghanistan. This
significantly
enhances both
the training
environment
and the training
value as they
use their
personal life
experiences
and their extensive GbE
OPFOR/COB role-playing
experience
to recreate
the same or
similar characteristics
that could
be experienced
or encountered
in the Central
Command (CENTCOM)
area of operations. GbE’s
OPFOR/COB role-player
support will immerse
deploying units in
a realistic setting
while they train
critical individual
and collective
skills that
are critical
to Stability
Operations
and Support
Operations
(SOSO).
GbE provides self-sustaining OPFOR/ Threat Groups that provide:
- Permanently modified semi-automatic blank-firing 7.62x39mm Kalashnikov rifles (blank adapters welded and pinned on) that are fully compliant with Federal and state law, with magazines, 7.62x39mm blank ammunition, theater-specific web-gear, and blank-firing “9mm” pistols (legal non-guns under both Federal and state law that are modified to fire 8mm blanks with barrels specifically designed to fire blanks).
- Scenario-specific, theater-specific clothing. Clothing is specifically chosen to replicate clothing commonly worn within the subject region.
- Other scenario-specific equipment and support items are available as required, including: protest signs, posters, individual IDs/passes, documents with “intelligence value,” et al.
Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape Training (SERE)
GbE understands the critical nature of providing SERE training to members of the military most susceptible to capture and can develop and provide regional and service-specific lectures, computer-based training, field instruction, and operational training phases that best prepare students for situations they likely will encounter. GbE has the staff qualifications to provide high quality Level “C” SERE training to military personnel in a manner that ensures each student graduates with confidence and the ability to employ SERE tactics, techniques, and procedures necessary to return with honor regardless of the circumstances of isolation.
Security Operations Training
Since September
11, 2001 concerns
related to
the security
of our country,
our families,
and our workplaces
have increased
significantly.
However, as
with any threat,
if we do not
prepare to
address the
potential threats,
train to prevent
a potential
adversary from
taking terrorist
actions, and
routinely testing
the planning
and level of
training we
will become
complacent.
GbE does not
specialize
in efforts
to train individuals
on security
related to
protecting
their families
but we do provide
specialized
training and
services to
ensure the
workplace is
secure. All
training is
modified to
suit the requirements
of the specific
facility and
the operations
performed within
the site.
GbE has the staff qualifications to provide both private and public sector organizations with the following:
- Threat Analysis
- Vulnerability Assessment
- Counterterrorism Planning
- Bomb and Improvised Explosive Device Recognition Training
- Physical Security Assessments
- Risk Assessments
- Physical Security Plan
- Security Drill and Exercise Planning
- Port Facility Security Assessment
- Security Policy and Procedures
- Security Drill Observers and Referee Training
- Security Force Personnel Training
- Employee Security Awareness Training
- Security Equipment Evaluation
.
